Bubble Wrap Turns 50

Bubble Wrap - we pack with it, play with it, design with it, wear it - the list is endless. Like many new innovations, Bubble Wrap did not start out as the familiar wrap that we know today. In the late 1050's, Marc Chavannes and Al Fielding were asked to develop a new type of textured wall paper. Unfortunately, the idea never got traction until one day its protective qualities were noticed.

So this month let's celebrate Bubble Wrap's 50 years of popping fun.
